Bilden togs inför en artikel i Upsala Nya Tidning 16 februari 1962.
Bilden är publicerad i Barbro Björnemalm, Sparade ögonblick. Folkhemmets pressbilder i Upplandsmuseets samlingar, sid 218 med följande bildtext: "Sjuksköterskan Ann-Sofi Olin undersöker Lars Simonsson från Skutskär i samband med den stora hälsokontroll som Uppsala läns landsting genomförde i Älvkarleby, Västlands och Hållnäs kommuner 1962. Året innan hade landstinget gjort hälsokontroller på 1 000 Uppsalabor, nu var det lika många personer i länets norra del som var aktuella. »Meningen är att man på detta sätt skall kunna få fram en bild av befolkningens hälsa med jämförelser mellan stad – tätort – ren landsbygd» sade läkaren Lars Linder som ledde undersökningen. Förutom Ann-Sofi Olin, deltog en röntgentekniker, ett sjukvårdsbiträde och en sekreterare i hälsokontrollen. Kommunalhuset i Skutskär var arbetsgruppens första nedslagsplats. Undersökningarna var mycket noggranna med kontroller av bland annat blodtryck, blodbrist, sänka och övervikt. Upsala Nya Tidning rapporterade att »genom att alla samhällsgrupper på detta sätt blir undersökta kan man därefter på grundval av de gjorda undersökningarna utforma lämpligaste sättet för en kontinuerlig hälsokontroll i landstingets regi».
