En svepask.
I svepasken påträffades cirka 100 stycken träpligg, fnr 14274, samt en kniv, fnr 14276. Svepasken låg i ett skrin, fyndnummer 15415, tillsammans med ett flertal föremål.
Utställt i "Livet ombord", Vasamuseet 1990- . I utställningen visas svepasken med följande innehåll; skopligg nummer 14274 samt tågvirke nummer 14280.

En svepask (svepskrin, svepkärl, spånask) användes för förvaring av personliga småsaker och består av bottenplatta, lock samt ett svep av trä. Asken är oftast oval eller rund och bottenplattan kan vara falsad eller ofalsad. Vid tillverkningen mjukades svepet (ett träspån eller en tunn träplatta) upp, böjdes därefter samman runt bottenplattan och fästes ihop med till exempel nitar eller rottågor (smala rotdelar). Runda svepaskar och falsade bottnar är ovanliga i Vasamaterialet. Konstruktionen utan fals är nästan allenarådande i Götaland och östra Svealand, medan de falsade bottnarna är typiska för norra Sverige, ungefär norr om bergslagen. Vidare så uttunnas i regel inte svepänden på de skandinaviska svepkärlen. Svepände med rak kant och avskurna hörn var mycket vanlig på 1500-talet. De släta stygnen förekommer allmänt över hela Sverige, Norge och Finland.

The box was found to contain ca 100 tiny wooden pegs and a knife. The oval box itself was found inside a wooden casket, No. 15415, along with several other artefacts.
