Text in English: A sculpture representing a male figure wearing a Roman armour. On the head there is what looks like a flat crown and on the board behind the head there is possibly a large sea shell. The face has a large curly and mostly clipped beard and is framed by curly hair. The figure wears long-armed armour with a steel curass, shoulder guards and knee guards of a type reminiscent of both Roman and renaissance amour. The figure stands at a right angle to the back-board of the sculpture, with its right side pressed to the back-board and the left side outermost. The figure''s head is turned to the left lookimg over his shoulder. The left hand rests on the hip were there originally would have been a sword. The right arm, which is missing, was held behind the back of the figure. The body rests on the right leg, the left leg is bent, the pose is possibly meant to show the figure moving forward. The figure stands on a plinth decorated with a mask and a name inscription. The upper part of the back extends obliquely upwards in a simple"head board". The back has three obliquely placed surfaces of different depths, that are areas of attachment. The surfaces make the sculpture looks like a step-ladder in profile. The plinth is damaged and no letters on the inscription is visible. The figure''s right arm is missing. Otherwise, the sculpture is well preserved.
