Skulpturens baksida uppvisar två fält i olika plan. Text in English: A sculpture representing a male figure. The laurel-wreathed head has a clean-shaven face and is backed by a large sea shell. The figure is wearing thorax armour with the mantle hanging down over the back and draped slantingly across the chest where it is fastened with a buckle on the right shoulder. The figure''s body is posed frontally, the head turned slightly to the right. The body rests on the right leg while the left leg is bent. The right arm is held slightly out from the body while the left arm is held along its left side. The figure stands on a rectangular plinth decorated with a mask. If the sculpture is viewed from the front the letters start on the left hand side and the first two, D followed by O, can be read. The upper part of the back extends obliquely upwards in a powerful "head board". The back of the sculpture has two surfaces of different depths that are areas of attachment. The surfaces make the sculpture look like a step-ladder in profile. The sculpture is rather well preserved, but the plinth is badly damaged. The figure''s right forearm is broken off.
