Kroppen övergår i stora bladformationer. Text in English: Pilaster with trumpet-blowing herm, from the hips up carved as a free sculpture. A man''s head with long curly hair and large moustache. The backward tilted S-shaped trumpet has its bell filled with flowers and fruit like a cornucopia. It is held with both hands and the left arm is fixed in behind the trumpet. The body changes to large leafy formations lower down. The lower part of the herm consists of a profiled base, decorated with vine leaves and winding scrollwork volutes. The base is separated or bordered from the actual herm by a profiled straight torus. The rear side of the sculpture is dominated by two hollowed-out grooves of similar shape. The back of the herm is pulled up, as it were, into a rectangular tenon or the like. The sculpture is very well preserved.
