Övergången till de snodda fiskstjärtarna döljs av ett stort, flikigt blad vars mittflik är förtjockad och upprullad. Skulpturens fotända är tapp- eller kilformad och tillplattad från sidorna. Tritonens huvud är framställt som rundskulptur. Från axlarna och nedåt är baksidan slät och plan. I höjd med övergången till stjärtpartiet finns ett kraftigt urtag. Nedtill bryter baksidans fotända av inåt.

The foot end of the sculpture has a flat end, seen from the side, and is wedge-shaped. The Triton''s head is carved as a three-dimensional sculpture. The rear side is smooth. There is a deep groove on the rear side at the transistion point between the male torso and the fish tails.
