Text in English: This is a sculpture of a child playing a set of bagpipes. The bagpipes are held in both hands and are further supported on the right leg, which is bent. The left leg is straight and takes the weight of the body. The head is turned slightly to the right and a trifle bent. The figure is partly draped in a cloak which conceals his right side. Above the head the backboard comes forward at right angles. The front of the board is wide and is decorated with an egg-moulding design which is placed diagonally across it, with the left-hand side lower than the right hand side when viewed from the front.. The figure stands upon a small flat plinth. The back of the sculpture is smooth. The sculpture is badly worn.
