The sweet little camping boat Lina was donated to the National Maritime Museum in 2008. By then she had been leaking in a disquieting way for the last couple of summers, and the owner family felt that it was time to say goodbye to the beloved boat. Lina was built in 1932 on Resarö near Vaxholm. She was ordered by Ivan Bolin , who was the grandfather of Hans af Petersens, who presented the boat to the museum. The year after Lina came into being Ivan Bolin got himself a summe house at Näsudden on Utö, and that is where Lina has been used most often. The camping boat Lina gave her owner family many a fine memory of boat trips and bathing excursions around Utö DUring the last eight years her home port was Slite on Gotland, but she still belonged to the family who had once ordered her. In 2007 Lina got a minor overhaul; her deck was scraped and her exterior got a new coat of varnish.
