This projector was used at the educational institution in Falun, which in the mid-1930s was expanded with a part for science. The National Board of Education installed the planetarium projector for projection in a classroom where 15 students could receive instruction in astronomy at the same time.
The projector was built by the Silesian firm E. Unglaube in 1935. The design is based on a patent by Emil Unglaube and Georg Kiehlmann, Glogau, Germany, which was granted on 31 Oct 1939.
