- Ursprungligen en radar utvecklad för tyska Luftwaffe och tillverkades av Telefunken. Den har kvar sin originala midnattsblå färg då den kom till Sverige, en färg som var Luftwaffes kännetecken. Tyskland sålde troligtvis detta radarsystem som ett led i att få in pengar och försäkra sig om fortsatta malmtransporter från Sverige under andra världskriget. Tidigare förlitade sig luftvärnet på de mindre väl fungerande lyssnarapparater som kunde placeras ut i terrängen för att infånga flygplansljud. Sverige köpte in 45 radarsystem av Würzburgtypen och beställningen gjordes i juni 1944 för drygt 12 miljoner kronor. Här ingick även en stor mängd reservmateriel. De första stationerna levererades redan i augusti 1944. Därmed blev de det svenska luftvärnets första radarstationer. Den svenska beteckningen blev Er2b (Ekoradio) men radarn kunde lätt störas ut av eventuella fiender med hjälp av stanniolremsor som släpptes från flygplan för att förvirra systemets målsökning. Exemplaret är den enda kvarvarande välbevarade Würzburgradarn i Sverige och ger samtidigt en historisk inblick i hur Sverige fick sitt första radarsystem för luftvärnet. Användes operativt i februari 1945 i den så kallade neutralitetsvakten. I maj 1947 konstaterades att armén för närvande hade 40 stycken Er2b enligt den svenska ekoradiokommittén. Räckvidden var 30-35 km för större mål. Jämför med flygvapnets första radar Er3b.
