Fotograf Stina Thuvik (1916 - 2002).
Stina Thuvik intresserade sig tidigt för fotografering. Hon lånade en lådkamera av fotografen i Skärhamn, Carl Johansson. De första bilderna bestod bl.a. av motiv från det egna hemmet.
Stina Thuviks far dog då Stina endast tre år gammal. Modern fick ensam ta ansvar för försörjning och uppfostran av barnen. Hon dog när Stina var 20 år.
Modern uppmanade tidigt sin dotter att skaffa sig ett yrke. Stina Thuvik påbörjade sin utbildning till fotograf som 21-åring 1937. Hon gick Slöjdföreningens 2,5-åriga fotokurs i Göteborg som gavs på kvällstid. På dagarna var hon praktikant hos fotograf Lindholm som hade lokal i centrala Göteborg.
1940 startade Stina Thuvik fotoverksamhet i egen ateljé i Skärhamn. Hon tog porträtt och dokumenterade livet på Tjörn, främst i Skärhamn.
Ett stort antal båtar och fartyg finns avbildade i hennes samling. Vissa motiv har blivit vykort. Hon fotograferade även produkter för lokala företag.
Stina Thuvik gick i pension 1981 och sålde då sin verksamhet.

Tror inte att bilden är från Skärhamn.
LL 238 var hemmahörande på Åstol 1949 till 1955.Tidigare hemma i Mollösund och Stocken.
