Flygfotografi från 1919 – 1920 över Sundsby säteri med bebyggelse, parkanläggning och inägomark.
Flygfotografierna är tagna av Claes Odhner (1895 - 1984) löjtnant vid Kungliga Flottan och flygspanare på Marinens Flygväsende (MFV) på 1920-talet. Övriga fotografier är tagna av Alvar Elfverson (1886 - 1959).
Detta var innan flygvapnet bildades. Odhner hade bl.a. som uppdrag att fotografera från luften. Det plan han använde var tvåsitsigt och av en typ som hade dubbla vingar med stänger emellan. Fotografen hängde ut genom planets fönster.
Givaren vet inte hur bilderna kom i faderns, Alvar Elfversons ägo, möjligen överlämnade Claes Odner dem till fadern på grund av dennes koppling till Sundsby säteri.
Alvar Elfverson var lantbrukselev på Sundsby säteri omkring åren 1919 - 1920. Där blev han bekant med en av säteriets döttrar, Cintra Kay (1895 - 1968), avbildad på flera av fotografierna. Mannen på bilderna är Alvar.
Vid denna tid var familjen Hutchinson Kay arrendatorer på Sundsby säteri. James Hutchinson Kay (1859 – 1938), gift 1883 med Ellen Waern (1862 - 1930) från göteborgsfamiljen Waern tillträdde som arrendatorer 1880. Familjen Hutchinson Kay behöll arrendet till 1938. Cintra gifte sig 1925 med agronom Ernst Lars Gunnar Svanström. Cintra Kay är begravd på Valla kyrkogård, Tjörn.
I förvärvet ingår också flygbilder tagna över området 1919 - 1920 av Claes Odhner (1895 - 1984).
