Tore tog ofta med sig kameran till Papyrus där han fotograferade sina arbetskamrater i arbete, men också fester och föreningsliv.
Detta är mangårdsbyggnaderna till Kvarnfallet 21, Arvid Olssons kvarn eller ”Royens kvarn”.
På 1780-talet invandrade tre bröder Roy från Stirling i Skottland och bosatte sig i Göteborg. 1803 köpte John Roy Kvarnfallet 21 i Mölndals kvarnby. Här lät han uppföra träbyggnaden år 1805, och familjen flyttade in 1807. Sonen Charles Roy den äldre övertog kvarnrörelsen och blev byålderman. Efter honom är Åldermansgatan uppkallad. När han skulle gifta sig, lät han uppföra tegelbyggnaden åt sig och sin hustru. Detta var på 1840talet. I början av 1850-talet lät han uppföra en stor hästskoformad ladugård av tegel. Från gårdsplanen ledde ”Royens trappor” ned till kvarnen vid Götaforsliden.
Kvarnen såldes och revs i början av 1900-talet. Den siste av släkten Roy, Charles Roy den yngre, dog 1935. 1936 köpte Mölndals Hembygdsförening den gamla kvarngården, där föreningens samlingar alltsedan dess har förevisats. Gården ägdes fram till 1962 av stiftelsen Kvarnbygården. Då övertog Mölndals stad gården.
I ladugården inrymdes en ved- och kolhandel, Mölndals Bränsle AB. Byggnaden brann 1969, och murarna revs några år senare. Därefter bebyggdes inte tomten utan användes som parkeringsplats.
Tegelhuset från 1840-talet har förutom bostäder inrymt skomakeri, skolbespisning (under första världskriget), fotoateljé, mjölkaffär, bageri och tvättstuga.
Utrymmen i träbyggnaden var mellan 1937 och 1977 upplåtna åt föreningar samt barn- och ungdomsverksamhet. Sedan 1977 förfogar Mölndals Hembygdsförening över hela gården.
