Den stora festsalen har ett tredelat innertak, tredingstak, och målad 1700-talsdekor direkt på timmerväggarna.
I oktober 1928 lades grunden för byggnaderna på friluftsmuseet Disagården, Gamla Uppsala, Uppland. Tidigt på våren 1929 transporterades de nedtagna byggnaderna till Gamla Uppsala och man började återuppföra dem. I april 1929 taktäcktes Nyvlastugan och den 1 maj samma år stod den klar. Därefter började man uppföra Bärbystugan, som stod klar till midsommar. Åren 1930 - 1931 uppfördes övriga byggnader. Disagården invigdes på pingstafton 1931.
