Övrigt: Hjulångaren ERIC NORDEVALL II är en replik av ERIC NORDEVALL, som byggdes 1836 och sedan havererade och sjönk vid ön Jungfrun i Vättern 1856. Hjulångaren byggdes på Hammarstens Varv i Norrköping 1836-1837.
Hon byggdes för att trafikera Göta kanal mellan Göteborg och Stockholm.
ERIC NORDEVALL ritades av en av de mest välkända fartygsbyggarna i Sverige på den tiden, sjöofficeren inom Svenska marinen Johan Gustaf von Sydow. Fartyget fick sitt namn efter ingenjören Eric Nordevall (1753-1835) Han var en av de framstående teknikerna i kanal och slussbyggande i Sverige under 1700-1800-talet.
