Vykortet har tillhört dalslandskonstnären Lisa Eriksson kallad "Målar-Lisa". Lisa Eriksson föddes 22 juni 1879 i Bråna, Järns socken. Lisa bodde på gården fram till att hon 1963 flyttade till Sunnannå ålderdomshem.
Starten till att Lisa började måla beskrivs vara att en konstnär kom till Bråna och målade av smedens stuga. Lisa tyckte inte att det blev likt och bestämde sig för att själv rita av stugan. Tavlorna hon målade var naivistiska och motiven hämtade hon ofta från sina barndomsminnen. Vanliga motiv var torp och backstugor från hennes hembygd. Lisa Eriksson fortsatte måla fram till att hon dog 89 år gammal 1968.
Lisas bror Anders var en tid i Amerika. Där köpte han en kamera till brodern Karl. Karl fotograferade sin hembygd i Dalsland.
Detta är ett av de vykort som kommer från Lisa Erikssons samling. Sannolikt är det hennes bror Karl Eriksson som har fotograferat de flesta motiven från Järns socken.
