När Marlen Sandberg i Stockholm födde sitt andra barn år 1992 hittade hon inga miljövänliga blöjor i affärerna. Blöjorna var mestadels gjorda av plast. Tillsammans med olika samarbetspartners utvecklade Marlen Sandberg miljöblöjan Nature Babycare. Den är en engångsblöja där det uppsugande materialet är gjort av miljövänlig trämassa, en film gjord av majsstärkelse stoppar vätskan. Miljöblöjan visades i utställningen Kvinnors uppfinningar från 2009.
Blöjan är biologiskt nedbrytbar och är 100% klorfri. Den är 100% fri från genmanipulerade råvaror. Miljöblöjan har svenskt patent och har fått utmärkelser som Good Environment Choice Sverige, Green Award for Outstanding Product 2009 USA, TIPS Highly Commended Award 2009 UK, Best Disposable Diaper UK 2007-2008 m fl. Men när Marlen Sandberg skulle börja sälja blöjan i Sverige blev det totalfiasko. Ett test, som senare visade sig vara fel, påvisade att miljöblöjan läckte. Marlen flyttade till England och där blev blöjan en framgång. Senare sålde hennes företag Naty även våtservetter och andra babyprodukter i butiker och nätbutiker i Europa, Asien, Nordamerika samt i Sverige.
