Möbeln består av tre olika typer av delar; överstycke, stolar och fickor mellan stolarna. Dessa delar är löstagbara från varandra. Stolen ser exakt likadan ut från olika vinklar. Bilderna 26262__a-c visar möbeln från olika vinklar.
Överstycket, bild 26262__d och e:
Överstycket är uppbyggd som en balustrad och är löstagbar. Varje sida består av svarvade balusterdockor och i hörnen finns diamantsnittsdekorer (åt tre håll). Ovanpå hörnen finns svarvade urn-liknande dekorer.
Stolarna (4st), bild 26262__f och g:
Runda volutformade ornament i nackhöjd. Sits, rygg och armstöd är försedda med rött tyg (sammet). Längst ut på armstöden finns volutformade ornament och skuren bladdekor. Rakt nedanför finns renässansdekor och därunder kannelyrer. Framsargen är kälad och konvex. Anfanger med runda ornament högst upp på frambenen. Samtliga ben är profilsvarvade. Hjultrissor på samtliga ben.
Bakom en av stolarna finns följande anteckning i blyerts: "Carl A.Lindqvist,17/10-93 ".
Fickorna, bild 26262__h:
Fickorna är tårtformade och skall skruvas fast i stolarnas underreden. De är konvexa längst fram och försedda med svarvade balustrader. Endast en ficka har applicerats inför fotograferingen. Samtliga fyra finns på bild 26262__i.
Möbeltypen kallas i Frankrike för Borne de milieu (Borne=gränsstolpe, milieu=mitten) med syftning på att möbeln är avsedd att stå mitt i ett rum.

Stolen är mestadels av ljust lövträ, somliga delar (främst i underredena) är av furu. Hela möbeln är svärtad. Ytan gör att bilderna blänker en hel del.
Tillstånd:
Sitsarna är slitna. Samtliga fickor är trasiga, delarna fäster inte i varandra.
