Miniatyrsockor stickade av Margareta Enander, Jönköping, omkring 1997. Strumporna förvärvades i samband med utställningen "Margareta Enander", förnyare av textila skolslöjden och med ett eget omfattat och varierat skapande, på Jönköpings läns museum 15 januari-12 mars 2000. Samtidigt förvärvat: JM 45036-JM 45057.
Margareta Enander var textillärare, textilkonstnär och konsthantverkare. Från slutet av 1940-talet fram till 1978 mötte många jönköpingselever hennes okonventionella undervisning i textilslöjd. Både i skolundervisningen och i sitt eget skapande utgick hon från naturen med dess färger, former och material.
