Bars av givarens mor professor Astrid Cleve, när hon gifte sig i domkyrkan 1902 med professor Hans von Euler. Astrid Cleve föddes i Uppsala 1875 och dog 1968. Professor Cleve var kemist, botanist och geolog. Paret skiljde sig 1912 och Astrid Cleve blev ensamstående med fem barn. Till 1940-talet var hon bosatt i Stockholm, sedan flyttade hon tillbaka till Uppsala.
Astrid Cleve var en svensk kemist, geolog och botaniker och var den första kvinnan i Sverige att doktorera i naturvetenskap.
Klänningen användes 12 april 1969 av dottern, Agneta Cecilia von Euler, vid hennes bröllop i Helga Trefaldighetskyrkan, Uppsala. Efter giftermålet hette hon Norlin.
Gåva den 2 juli 1969 från minister S. von Euler, Uppsala.
