Löb är en form av halmslöjd med traditioner främst i de gammeldanska landskapen. Materialet består av fuktig slagtröskad långhalm utan ax, vanligen råghalm. Halmen matas, "löber", efter hand in i ett löbhorn. Halmvarven binds samman med fuktiga skenor, kluvna med kniv ur en kvistfri fuktig käpp av pil eller hassel. Med en pryl vidgas föregående varvs vidjeögla så att nästa kan gripa in och hålla varven samman.
Löbhornet är oftast sågad ur ett rakt kohorn, men även flaskhalsar och träringar har använts.
Löbkärl har genom sina egenskaper lämpat sig särskilt väl för förvaring av torra livsmedel som t.ex. säd, gryn, malt, humle och torkad frukt. Man har även använt tekniken till förvaringskorgar. Löb isolerar, varför materialet och tekniken lämpar sig för bikupor, skor, korgar till kaffepumpor m.m. Vanliga var också "säalöben" dvs. såskäppor.
