Fotograf Gösta Skoglund (1904 – 1987)
Fotografen och författaren Artur Gösta Skoglund föddes i Masthugget i Göteborg 1904. Han tog examen som folkskollärare 1932 och arbetade som lärare i Göteborg åren 1932-1968, bland annat på Kungsladugårdsskolan. Han var medarbetare i Göteborgs-Tidningen från 1931, i tidskriften Foto 1949-1965 och i Göteborgs-Posten från 1973.
Född i Masthugget, Göteborg. Han var tidigt engagerad i Fotografiska Föreningen i Göteborg, bildad 1937 och var aktiv medlem som föreläsare och kassör.
Han är författare till den klassiska ”Fotolärobok i bild”, publicerad första gången 1952 och sedan utkommen i nya och utökade upplagor under närmare tre decennier, även översatt till engelska och franska.
Hustrun hette Ella Karola (1909 – 1998), paret gifte sig 1933.
