Drev Ateljén Berlin & Olsson 1893-1899 på Trädgårdsgatan 24. Carl Victor Berlin emigrerade till Amerika efter några år och Oskar W Olsson drev ateljén själv och flyttade senare till Hudiksvall.
"Sundsvall 1870 – 1901
Oskar Wilhelm Olsson föddes den 2 mars år 1870 i Adolf Fredrik församling i Sundsvalls stad. Fadern var arbetaren Jonas Wilhelm Olsson (född 1838) och modern Fredrika Jonsdotter (född 1845). Familjen flyttade till Skön (Skönsberg) utanför Sundsvall år 1874, där fadern arbetade på Heffners såg. När han var 23 år, 1893, flyttade Oskar in till Sundsvalls stad. Där arbetade han som fotograf fram till år 1901. Först troligtvis tillsammans med en fotograf Carl Victor Berlin och sedan på egen hand.
Hudiksvall 1902 – 1922
År 1901, vid 31 års ålder, flyttade Oskar till Hudiksvall och stadsdelen Åvik och arbetade som fotograf. Senare samma år flyttade hans syster Alida Fredrika Olsson (född 1879 i Skön) till Hudiksvall och började arbeta som fotografbiträde hos honom. Oskar ägde fastigheten (Åvik Nr. 32) där han hade ateljén med gatuadressen Södra vägen Nr. 46. I hushållet ingick, förutom systern, även två hushållerskor, en tjänarinna och en chaufför. Oskar avled den 30 november år 1922, 52 år gammal. Systern Alida ärvde fastigheten med ateljén men hon flyttade vidare till Bergsjö år 1924 och etablerar sig där som fotograf några år (se vidare Alida Olsson)."
