Skrapnos, en äldre motsvarighet till dagens plockepinn, blev ett populärt sällskapsspel under 1800-talet. Huvudregeln var att man lät stickorna falla i en hög på bordet, därefter skulle spelarna med hjälp av en liten hake plocka upp dem utan att högen rubbades. Om det misslyckades gick turen till nästa spelare. Den som förlorade blev skrapad på näsan av vinnaren med den lilla såg som oftast hörde till spelet.
Har tillhört Nils Gyldenstolpe (1768-1844), greve, generalmajor och 1817-34 landshövdning i Örebro län. Gyldenstolpe och hans hustru Charlotta Aurora, f. De Geer af Finspång (1779-1834), var nära knutna till Gustaf IV Adolfs hov och hörde till kretsen kring Axel von Fersen d.y. Möjligen är det Nils Gyldenstolpe som har tillverkat pjäserna. I hans boupteckning nämns "2 Skrapnos".
