Mössan har styv stomme av papp. Yttertyg av vitt siden, tyget mycket mörknat. Fodertyg enfärgat mörkt beige linnetyg. Kantad med sidenband. Stumpar av ett ca 0,5 cm brett brickvävt dragband i nacken.
Sex svängda veck i varje sida baktill. Vecken går långt ut på sidoflikarna. Mössans framkant är nersvängd i en mycket liten spets mitt fram. Längs med mössans framkant finns tre stickningar på 1,2 cm avstånd från varandra. Den nedersta stickningen sitter 1,2 cm från nederkanten. De två understa stickningarna följer även formen på mössans sidoflikar och går fram till vecken.
Tillverkningstid och användningstid osäker. I Folkdräkter och bygdedräkter i hela Sverige av Arnö-Berg, Inga, sid. 213 finns snarlika mössor från Sorunda i Sörmland sk Stockholmsmössor. Deras stommar är troligen tillverkade i stort antal i någon verkstad i Stockholm kring mitten av 1800-talet.
Svängda veck finns på små mössor av ganska sent datum. (Uppgiftslämnare: Ulla Centergran, Fil. dr. i etnologi, dräktforskare) Med anledning av dessa uppgifter är dateringen av den här mössan snävt gjord.
Sliten, små hål vid vecken, kantbandet sönderslitet fram. Smutsig.
Stora, svagt synliga fläckar både fram och bak. Små hål mitt bak i nacken.
