1949.21.4 Museet har inköpt 36 olika saker från aktion efter sterbhuset Hugo Hallgren i Högsäter.

- History
Hugo Hallgren (1867 - 1949) var son till salteriidkaren och handelsmannen Johan Jacob Hallgren och Emelia Gerle. Företaget började sälja brissling på 1850-talet och 1864 startade man konservfabrik på Gullholmen som senare döptes till J. J. Hallgren & Söner.
Sönerna var Gustav Richard, f. 1858 och Oscar Hugo, f. 1867.
Företaget introducerade flera nyheter inom ansjovisindustrin, bl.a. Sveriges första skinn- och benfria delikatessill. Man var också först med att lägga in ansjovis i hermetiskt slutna kärl av bleckplåt. 1898 köptes Hallgrens konservfabrik upp av det nybildade storföretaget AB Sveriges Förenade Konservfabriker (SFK). 1901 flyttade Hugo Hallgren till Ellös där han startade en ny konservfabrik.
Hugo Hallgren flyttade till Högsäter i Dalsland där han dog.
Föremålen i samlingen är skänkta till museet av dödsboet.
