Fotot är del av ett fotoalbum som tillhört byggmästare Lars Petter Sten (1853-1941), Enköping, verksam fr.o.m. 1887. Albumet har påkostad utformning och är märkt på framsidan med texten: "Byggmästaren L. P. Sten, 10/8 1900, av erkännsamma arbetare". (Se föremål EM04408). Albumet innehåller 80 st fotografier på byggnadsprojekt som L. P. Sten med sin firma utfört. Därutöver ett porträtt på honom själv samt en gruppbild.
Fotot förmodas vara taget av Enköpingsfotografen Anders Willmanson (1853-1924), då ett stort antal av albumets övriga foton identifierats i Enköpings museums glasplåtssamling efter Willmanson.
På hörnbyggnaden syns en skylt på vilken står "Målare And. Lidén" (Anders Lidén 1861-1957).
Fotot är sannolikt taget under perioden 1890-1895 då svarvare Carl Adolf Carlsson (1857-1935), var ägare av fastigheten och där först drev snickeriaffär sedan "Enköpings Snickerifabrik". Paret till vänster kan möjligen vara Adolf med maka Matilda Kristina f. Jansdotter (1853-1943). Under slutet av perioden blev en Per Thulin (f. 1854 i Jemshög) först delägare i rörelsen, och därefter under en kort tid även helägare. 1895 köptes fastigheten av snickaremästare August Wilhelm Carlsson (1854-1934), som länge drev verksamheten vidare där.
