Han skall pensioneras, och detta är hans sista arbetsdag.
Han är klädd i mörk kosym, vit skjorta och har glasögon.
Genom fönstret ser man Uddevalla klocktorn.
År 1931 anställdes Emil Håkansson som stadsfiskal i Uddevalla, endast 33 år gammal. Befattningen som stadsfiskal innebar att vara såväl polischef som åklagare. Som polischef ansågs han styra med hårda nypor.
1948 beslutade länsstyrelsen att stadsfiskalstjänsten i Uddevalla skulle uppdelas i två tjänster, en som polischef och en som åklagare. Håkansson valde då att fortsätta som enbart åklagare.
