Kortet är till John Carlsson, som var chaufför vid bryggeriet och uppvaktades på sin 60-årsdag med hälsning från bland annat direktör Fredrik Anderzon.
Nässjö bryggeri AB tillverkade bland annat det klassiska ölet Fat 21 eller Expertölet. Bryggeriet lades ner 1981 och byggnaden brann 1988-01-14.
Nässjö Bryggeri AB låg på Köpmansgatan 20 och var då Jönköpings läns största tillverkare av maltdrycker. År 1964 var det 60 anställda och det tillverkades 10000 flaskor i timmen, vilket gav en årsomsättning av öl och vatten på 15 miljoner flaskor. Företaget startade den 23 oktober 1874 och var Nässjös äldsta industri. Chefen var, sen den 1 januari 1964, Nils Gäre. Då efterträdde han sin far F. Anderzon som innan dess hade varit VD i 60 år. Det som gjorde den bryggda Nässjöölen så speciell var att den var gjord av eget malt och särskilt utprovad jäst. (Industriliv på högland s112ff)
