Fartygslämning. Lämningen påträffades i samband med ett inventeringsprojekt 2017, som drevs av Bohusläns museum. Fartyget har sammankopplats med krigshändelser sommaren 1719, då flera örlogsfartyg ur den svenska flottan sänktes kring Strömstad. På en samtida situationsplan (karta) anges bland andra två svenska galärer ha blivit sänkta inom vattenområdet Dafterbukten.
Resultat av forskningsundersökning 2019, genomförd av Bohusläns museum i samarbete med Nordic Maritime Group resulterade i en kartläggning som visar att
den sammanhängande skrovkonstruktionen upptar en yta av cirka 11,5 × 4,7 meter, och att fartyget, i varje fall i akterpartiet, tycks vara bevarat upp till relingsnivå. Däremot är det oklart om den sondade längden motsvarar fartygets ursprungliga längd. Frilagda konstruktionselement indikerar dock att det kan röra sig om ett mindre fartyg på omkring 12–15 meters längd. Vid provgrävning påträffades fynd från fartygets utrustning och användning. Dendrokronologisk analys av konstruktionen visar att fartyget sannolikt byggdes kring år 1700.
