Robert Schwartzman var direktör för Tigerfabriken, herrkonfektionstionsföretag i Uddevalla. Han omkom i en trafikolycka 2 oktober 1961, endast 55 år gammal.
Företaget Schwartzman & Nordström startade sin verksamhet år 1903 i mycket liten skala i ett gårdshus i centrala Uddevalla. Rörelsen expanderade snabbt, och man startade egen tillverkning av herrkonfektion. År 1923 lanserades namnet Tiger (of Sweden) och fabriken blev under mellankrigstiden Skandinaviens största herrkonfektionsproducent.
Tigerfabriken i kvarteret Sinclair blev på grund av kriget färdig först år 1949. Tigerfabriken stängdes den 13 december 1991.
