Bertil Gustafsson (1925 - 1985) född i Tanum, död i Höganäs, startade tillsammans med Rune Wahlström (1921 - 2005) från Östergötland, Bohus Intarsia i Uddevalla år 1947. Innan dess var de två männen anställda på Mjölby Intarsia med yrkesbeteckning decoupeur/dekupör/dekopör. Gemensamt beslutade de sig för att starta eget. Efter några år tog Bertil Gustafsson över Bohus Intarsia själv.
Firman låg på Jarlsgatan 12, Uddevalla. Totalt arbetade fyra kvinnor och tre män i verksamheten.
Tavlor tillverkades i serier om 40. Därefter fortsatte man med ett nytt motiv för att inte trötta ut de anställda.
För Sveriges olika landskap - Skåne, Blekinge osv. gjordes tavlor med intarsiainläggningar, så kallade landskapstavlor. De var populära bland svenskamerikaner.
Andra objekt i företagets produktion var brickorna "När skönheten kom till byn" och "Hej och hå jungman Jansson".
Förutom nämnda souvenirtavlor gjorde firman ämnen av fanér med intarsia till stilmöbler/byråer och smycken. Hals- och armband skapades i en kombinationen av ädelträ med metallinläggningar. De såldes bl.a. till Stockholmsbutiker.
Bertils hustru från 1949, Lilly Gustafsson, Höganäs, berättade i februari 2012 att hon kvällstid fick bränna skuggor på löv i intarsiaarbetena med hjälp av varm sand. Annars var hon mestadels verksam med administrativt arbete på firmans kontor.
År 1956 flyttar familjen Gustafsson till Ronneby och tar över den firma som tillverkade intarsiamöbler till vilken de tidigare levererat skurna fanér/intarsiaarbeten. Senare går familjen Gustafssons flyttlass till Höganäs där företaget Höganäsmöbler AB med tillverkning av kontorsmöbler etableras.
Konstnären Birger Ekman (1905-1999) född i Solna, död i Trollhättan.

Lilly Gustafsson, från 1949 gift med Bertil Gustafsson (1925 - 1985) som innehade Bohus Intarsia, Uddevalla, startat år 1947. År 1956 flyttade familjen Gustafsson till Ronneby och tog över en firma som tillverkade intarsiamöbler till vilken de tidigare levererat skurna fanér/intarsiaarbeten.
