En runristad gravhäll påträffades hösten 1934 vid den s k Granhammarskyrkan i Vintrosa socken av lantbrukaren Martin Palm, Granhammar.
Gravhällen från Granhammarskyrkan fördes år 1953 till Örebro läns museum.
Grå sandsten. Hällens tre delar har så gott som fullständig passning. Längd 185 cm: Ursprunligen har hällen varit något längre, efterom ett stycke av fotändan är avslaget-(spår av fotändans ursprunliga avslutning finns möjligen i hällens undekant). Bredden vid huvudänden är 64 cm, vid fotändan 37 cm. Hällen är alltså starkt avsmalnande mot fotändan. I huvudändan är hällen mjukt rundad. Största tjockleken är omkring 20 cm.
Den läsning som här redovisas är resultatet av upprepade granskningar. Det måste emellertid framhållas att läsningen på vissa punkter är osäker. Inskriften, som börjar vid fotändan (nedtill till vänster) är i början och slutet så fördärvad att varje rekonstrukstionsförsök där är dömt att misslyckas. Några runor har gått helt förlorade i samband med att fotändan slogs bort.
Inskrift: ...-ra...-a...-------...l...t gaera sten ifir sif-... auipr rist ru...ur gup gaeti ant-...sal...-...
"...lät göra stenen över Seve (?) Åvid (?) ristade runorna. Gud tage (hans) ande och själ i sin vård."
Gravhällens form med rundad huvudända är ålderdomlig och sällsynt. Likartad gravhällsformer förekommer emellertid på västgötskt område. Att gravhällen har tillkommit mot slutet av 1100-talet förfaller troligt.
Nä 20 tillhör onekligen, trots de svåra skadorna, landskapets intressantare runinskrifter. Det är den enda som lämnar uppgift om ristarens namn.
