- Varmvattenledningar började användas i Sverige på 1860-talet. År 1866 fick kyrkan sin ledning dragen av C. Atterling, ägare till en stor fin "prisbelönt" mekanisk verkstad. Värmerören som var monterade i kyrkgolvet låg i rännor och sammanfogade med "rostkitt". I golvytan över rännorna var med vissa mellanrum galler av järn placerade och därigenom skulle de varma luften strömma uppåt och värma upp kyrkan.
