- När man tar blodprov är det viktigt att blodet inte tjocknar. Därför blandas blodet med antikoaguleringsmedel. Förut gjordes detta för hand genom att varje provrör vändes 10-12 gånger. Ibland var det många rör som behövde vändas. Slarv med blandningen kunde resultera i felaktiga analysresultat. Sjuksköterskan Barbro Hjalmarsson uppfann denna batteridrivna blodvagga för att underlätta detta arbete. De fyllda provrören läggs på vaggan som gungar fram och tillbaka. Vaggan kan ställas in på tre olika hastigheter. Uppfinningen är patenterad i Sverige 1994 och saluförs av Triolab AB.
