Hakmålarna från Hammarsbyn är kända med sina så kallade Hakmasrosor. Två bröder både snickare och målare Hak Erik Olsson (1787-1862) och Matts Olsson (1791-1887) från Hammarsbyn. Hak-målarnas far Olof Ersson (Glad) (1758-1835) vistades på Sollerön i slutet av 1700-talet där han lärde sig att göra klockor vilket förmodligen medförde att han fick insikt i måleriet. Det är dock troligt att en del möbler från 1700-talets slut är målade av honom och att han har varit sönernas läromästare.
