En av två ljusstakar som enligt givarens uppgift kommer från resandebosättningen Snarsmon i Bullaren, Bohuslän.
Givaren berättar:
”Jag fick dem för ca.17-18 år sedan av ett ca. 80-årigt par som bodde i ett vitt hus vid en av de två Bullaresjöarna. Vi pratade om bygden och jag blev kvar en lång stund, de hade mycket att berätta, Vi kom bland annat in på Snarsmon. De hämtade då ljusstakarna och sa att de härstammar därifrån och jag fick dem nog för att jag var så ovanligt intresserad av bygdens forntid."
I utställningen Möt resandefolket! visas förutom det arkeologiska materialet, ett enda bevarat föremål från Snarsmon, en ampel i trådarbete tillverkat av Vilhelm Korsgård, en deposition. I samband med utställningsarbetet efterlyste Bohusläns museum i lokalpressen föremål från Snarsmon och ampeln var det enda som då kom in. Bohusläns museum har inga egna insamlade föremål från Snarsmon utöver det arkeologiska materialet.
